God calls us to bless and serve others and at Abiding Word, we have exciting ways for you to get involved by joining one of our eTeams.

We're always looking for more people to do anything from making coffee to hanging out with kids. Just give it a try and find the area that best fits you. All the while, making friends and growing spiritually in the process.

VIP

We go above and beyond to welcome visitors to our church as our VIPs. From the second someone drives into our parking lot, the VIP team ensures they get a true VIP experience! If you are friendly, enjoy making people feel at home, and can wave and smile, VIP is for you.

Parking

The parking lot is where it all starts. This team is a group of friendly, smiling people, who literally make the first impression on every guest. The parking team isn't just about putting cars into parking spaces, but about creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

Greeters

Do you have a cheerful smile and enjoy welcoming people? Consider joining this eTeam. The greeters are energetic, and friendly, and welcome everyone with a smile and hello.

Ushers

The ushers help to create a worship experience that is distraction-free. This team is responsible for welcoming guests, helping them find a seat and minimizing distractions so they are relaxed and ready to focus on the message.

Resource

The resource team encourages our guests by distributing sermons on DVDs or CDs and spread the message of Abiding Word through our t-shirts and other products.

Production

Production eTeam volunteers help create smooth-running Worship Experiences. If you love creative communication - whether that's video, lighting, stage design, graphic design or behind the scenes work - experienced or not, we'll find a way to get you involved.

AW Kids

If you enjoy working with kids, then Kigz Kidz is for you. The Kingz Kidz team provides creative and fun environments to learn and grow during our worship experiences. There are opportunities to interact directly with kids or behind-the-scenes roles. No matter what gifts or abilities you have, use them to impact children's lives.

Next Steps

Help people get connected and make that next step at Abiding Word by assisting them in finding an eTeam, signing them up for baptism or speaking with them about their decision to follow Christ.

Hospitality

Whether you enjoy cooking, serving or decorating for special events, you can find a place on the hospitality eTeam. Cafe 227, Snack-a-Teria and various dinner parties and events are a few ways you can serve on this team.

Music

Our worship experience is filled with celebration and joy and this eTeam holds nothing back in their worship to God. The energy level is high and the atmosphere is electric! If you're a musician, vocalist, lyricist or dancer who loves to worship, let us hear/see what you've got. Auditions are held periodically.

Security / Medical

Each week, we have a team of volunteers who watch out for our safety by helping to provide a safe, distraction free environment for our church family, including minimal medical care. (not all security volunteers need to have medical experience).
